CLSIG has produced some documents to assist in assessment, diagnosis, and onward referral of children with lymphoedema. These documents have been placed on the media page, but are also available on the BLS website. We are currently working on a Children’s charter, which is near completion, and the 2016 children’s Lymphaletics event is fast approaching. We have also been nominated for and won the 2016 British Journal of Nursing award in chronic oedema and lipoedema. Hopefully this award will help raise awareness of the difficulties faced by children with this condition and their families, and the work we’re doing to try and alleviate some of the problems.
